- Description
- The Great Plains Region of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract for the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Treatment Plant Lab Analysis. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only, and will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using FAR Part 12 procedures. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541712 and the related small business size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation R15PS00052 will be posted electronically via www.fedbizopps.gov on or about November 20, 2014. The date for receipt of offers will be approximately December 18, 2014. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. PRINCIPAL COMPONENTS OF WORK: The work consists of conducting chemical analysis of weekly water samples and metal hydroxide sludge samples from Reclamation's LMDT water treatment plant. Analytical services performed under this contract are for the purpose of compliance monitoring for NPDES permit Co-0021717 clean effluent discharge, as well as plant raw influent water quality, process water quality and TCLP analysis of metal hydroxide sludge generated by the treatment process.
