- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) San Francisco VA Medical Center Network Contracting Office (VISN 21) 4150 Clement Street San Francisco, CA 94121 Acquisition is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside (SA) Solicitation Number: VA261-15-B-0074 Project Title: Mare Island Earthquake Repairs Project Number: 612-15-002 Project Location: Mare Island, Building 201, VA Outpatient Clinic Projected Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000 Acquisition shall be Sealed Bid in accordance with FAR 14 Sealed Bidding RFP to be issued VIA Email to VA MATOC holders RFP shall be issued on or around November 17, 2014 Pre-Proposal Conference (site visit) shall take place on November 19, 2014 Location: 201 Walnut Ave. Vallejo, CA 91592, building 201 Mare Island VA Outpatient Clinic Date: November 17, 2014 Time: 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM Applicable NAICS Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Size Standard $33.5 million GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, services and supervision necessary to repair all earthquake damages in bldg. 201 VA Outpatient Clinic, Mare Island, 201 Walnut Ave, Vallejo, CA 94592. The damages are located in a 64,000 sf area and will include the following: "Replace up to 3,000 square feet of acoustic ceiling tiles, per provided diagram. "Replace up to 1,700 square feet of acoustical tile and grid, and lights. "Replace 50 ceiling mount lights "Replace up to 1,000 lineal feet of ceiling grid, provided diagram. "Repair up to 3,500 lineal feet of plaster cracks with plaster tape and joint compound, and paint repaired areas to match in basic colors walls (non-custom colors), paint custom colors accent walls completely, per provided diagram. "Replace up to 400 lineal feet of vinyl base cove; Staircases & Offices. "Repair suspension straps and wires on ceiling grid and ceiling light fixtures. "Design and install additional suspension support systems for the existing fire suppression system pipes. "Remove exterior overhead light fixtures on ceiling of exterior overhead structure located at rear of Bldg 201, and replace with new more luminous exterior lighting fixtures. "Clean, patch cracks and edges, and paint the ceiling of exterior overhead structure located at rear of Bldg 201, using premium quality exterior paint. "Repair exterior solar panel and panel support structure located north of Bldg 201. "Seismically secure 1,040 lbs. safe cabinet located in cashier's office. "All bidding contractors must be present at BID walk.
