- Description
- This is a synopsis of proposed contract action FA4452-15-R-0004. The Government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source, Accenture, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 253(c)(1). This is not a request for competitive proposals. Solicitation packages are not available. The approved J&A will be posted at a later date. This effort will be for Task Managemet Tool Maintenance, located at Scott Air Force Base. Under the contemplated contract, Accenture will provide TMT support in sustainment of the HQ AMC Business Systems (AMC/A6IB) Program. The contractor shall provide TMT license maintenance sustainment to include software assurance along with upgrades. This support includes three main tasks; 1) Reports and Meetings, 2) TMT License Maintenance and Sustainment, and 3) Software Security. Additionally, the contractor shall provide a help desk phone number for after normal business hours support. Contractor support is required to fill a service gap caused by the lapse in contractor TMT support resulting from not exercising option year one on the previous contract (HC1028-12-C-0076-P00003) and the time needed to award a new procurement. The Department of the Air Force, 763d Specialized Contracting Squadron (763 SCONS/PKA) intends to issue a sole source contract to Accenture. Period of Performance includes a base period and two 12-month option periods. The Government plans to issue a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for Task Management Tool Maintenance services on or around 01 Dec 14. The Government intends to establish a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) single-award Requirements contract. The offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The planned period of performance is as follows: Base Period (5 Jan 14 - 30 Sep 15) Option Period 1 (1 Oct 15 - 30 Sep 16) Option Period 2 (1 Oct 16 - 30 Sep 17) Please note that all dates listed in this synopsis are tentative and are subject to change.
