Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 13.106-1 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Medtronic AF Solutions, Mounds View, MN, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1, "Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold." The proposed procurement is for the purchase of Arctic Front Advance CryoAblation Catheters for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. (3) 23mm Artic Front Catheter Balloon (3) 28mm Artic Front Catheter Balloon The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 1:00pm EST on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Inquires will only be accepted via email to chauneecy.fletcher@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
