- SOLICITATION Synopsis & Pre-Invitation Notices The 11th Contracting squadron intends to procure services where prospective offerors shall provide all tools, supplies, labor equipment and labor/management necessary to inspect, maintain and repair the Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility (AFRTF) in a manner that will ensure its serviceability and prevent deterioration in operational effectiveness. This service contract will be performed at the AFRTF located on Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Maryland in accordance with the specifications and attachments that will be identified in the solicitation. A Firm-Fixed Price Contract award is contemplated at a mutually agreed upon price for one base year, and four option years to follow. This action will be a 100% Set-aside for Small Business Administration participants on a competitive basis. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541350, with the business size standard of $7.5M. It is anticipated the period of performance beginning 1 January 2015 thru 31 December 2019. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 17 November 2014 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
