- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard Base Alameda, CAMSPAC Point Reyes, and Training Center Petaluma, CA have a need for a contractor to provide Housing and Grounds Maintenance Services to buildings at Training Center Petaluma, the Alameda Housing Area, the Concord Housing Area, CAMSPAC Point Reyes, Yerba Buena Island, and the Novato Housing Area. Services include Service Calls for routine and emergency repairs to occupied housing and houses that are empty due to pending divestiture or pending major repairs, as well as administrative/service buildings, and unattached carports/garages; Change of Occupancy Maintenance to empty housing units; grounds maintenance; maintenance and repairs to common housing areas e.g. playgrounds; janitorial services in housing offices. Housing units consist of single family dwellings, duplexes, and apartment units in multi-plex buildings. Not all housing units will be occupied 100% of the time. Concord Housing Area consists of 200 housing units in Victory Village constructed in 1989. Another 80 housing units, located adjacent in Quinault Village, were constructed in 1965. These units are no longer occupied but may potentially require repair services. Alameda Housing Area, Marina Village, consists of 300 units constructed in 1991. Four housing units built between 1875 and 1941 are located on Yerba Buena Island. CAMSPAC housing consists of one 28 units built in 1972. The Novato Housing area consists of 130 housing units constructed in 1933, 1934 and 1935 in Spanish Village. Another 120 housing units constructed in 1989 are located adjacent in Knolls Village. In Knolls Village 57 housing units and in Spanish Village 36 housing units are closed and may require services on a more limited basis. Each housing area also has additional structures included in the scope as detailed above. Training Center Petaluma contains 128 housing units built between 1949 and 1985.
