Estimated solicitation issue date 05 Dec 2014, Estimated Close Date 06 Jan 2015 PR# - FD2030-15-00252 Nomenclature/Noun - Switch, Push-Pull NSNs - NSN: 5930-01-180-9566, P/N: L5303482-001 Application (Engine or Aircraft) - B-1B AMC - 1G Description: Used to activate and provide the status of flight crew ejection hatch escape system. Requested Delivery: 4 units on or before 01 June 2015. Early delivery is acceptable. Qty: Qty Range from Min 1 each to Max 6 each. The current requirement is 4 each. The current required quantity is 4 EA. However, the required quantity may change. Therefore, contractor shall provide proposed prices to the following ranges. If the quantity ranges provided in this solicitation do not provide the best pricing option then the contractor shall submit quantity ranges that yield the best prices to the Government based on the Min quantity of 1 EA and Max quantity of 6 EA. See clause 52.207-4. The quantity of this solicitation will be re-evaluated upon receipt of the contractor's proposal. Mandatory Language: New/Unused government surplus will be considered. Surplus must meet the following requirements: 1. Parts are new and unused. 2. Parts shall be in original unopened package labeled with original contract number. 3. The original manufacturer must be an approved source. 4. The offering surplus vendor must show when and where the parts were obtained as surplus. 5. Misrepresentation of the item by the vendor shall be cause for rejection and return of the item to the vendor at no cost to the government. 6. Recommend 100% visual inspection prior to installation/use 7. Item shall be free of rust or corrosion This is a total Small Business set-aside. You are REQUIRED to be "EXPORT CONTROLLED" certified in order to view the drawings for this solicitation. If your company intends to become export control certified there is a web site for registration, the website is www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. These drawings are available and are attached to the solicitation posting on https://www.fbo.gov/. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Interested persons/firms may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal or quotation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested sources may submit a capability statement, quotation or proposal that will be considered by the government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
