- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Teledyne Electronic Safety Products (TESP) for the repair of three (3) ejection seat sequencer NSNs. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Requirements firm fixed price long-term contract (LTC) with a five-year base. This requirement is for the repair of the following line items and Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ): NSN: 1680-01-513-8959 P/N: MBEU146470-6 SEQUENCER, EJECTION Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) Year 1: 60 EA Year 2: 60 EA Year 3: 60 EA Year 4: 60 EA Year 5: 60 EA NSN: 1680-99-125-8127 P/N: MBEU146470-3 SEQUENCER, SEAT, EJE Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) Year 1: 60 EA Year 2: 60 EA Year 3: 60 EA Year 4: 60 EA Year 5: 60 EA NSN: 1680-99-969-1876 P/N: MBEU146470-5 SEQUENCER, SEAT, EJE Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) Year 1: 60 EA Year 2: 60 EA Year 3: 60 EA Year 4: 60 EA Year 5: 60 EA The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with TESP. TESP is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above repair part. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
