- Q&A Q1: Does the unit require input/output isolation transformers? A1: The unit does not require input/output isolation transformers Q2: Is the unit indoor or outdoor? A2: The unit will be located indoors Q3: Is the unit installed in a hanger? A4: The unit will not be installed in a hanger. Q5: Is the real requirement to have Output Voltage variable from 0-132 line to neutral & 0-228 Line to Line? A5: The requirement for adjustable output voltage can be reduced for our current testing requirements. The new requirement is as follows: 'The frequency changer shall be capable of variable output voltage from 110 to 130 VAC line to neutral and 195 to 225 VAC line to line. Q6: Is the real requirement to have the Output Frequency variable from 60 Hz to 450 Hz? A6: The requirement for adjustable output frequency can be reduced for our current testing requirements. The new requirement is as follows: 'The frequency changer shall be capable of a minimum variable output frequency of390 to 410 Hz. Q7:Is an output voltage of 120/208+ or -10% adjustable via potentiometer acceptable A7: A potentiometer is acceptable if it is easily accessible without removal or disassembly of any panels Q8: Is an output frequency that is Crystal controlled and that is always 400 cycle plus or -.01 or better and is not variable acceptable? A8: No, the unit must have an adjustment for the frequency output Q9: Are the physical dimensions 28" wide by no more than 30" deep adjustable? This seems to be restrictive. A9: No, the area the frequency converter is located will not allow physical dimensions larger than those in the Purchase Description without facility alterations.
