- The primary purpose of this announcement is to assess whether there are businesses located within the local vicinity (as defined in DFARS 226.7101) qualified and capable of performing MMRP services at Umatilla ADA Chemical Depot, Hermiston, Oregon under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562910. quote mark Local vicinity quote mark is defined as firms with physical offices in Umatilla, Morrow, Grant, Union, and Wallowa counties of Oregon; and Walla Walla and Benton Counties of Washington. These offices should be well established in that the offices have been operational since at least November 2013. Please provide physical evidence of such existence through submittal of a local bill/invoice, such as a water bill with address, electric bill with address, etc. If interested and qualified to perform MMRP requirements, please provide whether your firm is a local area large business, small business, 8(a) business, etc. within NAICS 562910. Also, provide a brief description of your firm's qualifications and capabilities. The record should demonstrate previous experience performing these types of projects. In addition, the record should provide the numbers of qualified personnel to execute an MMRP project. For example, the number of MMRP Supervisory personnel and UXO technicians currently on staff and available to perform MMRP work should be provided. Finally, the interested party should explain whether the MMRP personnel are local area residents or not. The response to this notice shall not exceed two 8.5 quote mark x 11 quote mark pages; font no smaller than 10-point size. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. The Government will review the responses to this sources sought and assess its options to contract for the work.
