- II MEF Expeditionary Contracting has a requirement for the lease of various commercial vehicles in support of a Marine unit at Morón Air Base, Spain. The proposed acquisition is a full and open solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 532112 and the size standard is $3.8 million. This procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The Government will solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 12 and 13. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The requirement is for a minimum of 23 vehicles that are in accordance to European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) Market Segment. The requirement shall encompass the following vehicle types: C-segment small cars and D- segment large cars (similar to compact and midsize US EPA size class) M-segment multipurpose cars (similar to passenger van cargo US EPA size class) Vehicle models shall be 2009 or later. The period of performance will be for no more than 180 days and will begin on or about 15 December 2014. The solicitation (M27100-15-T-5001) will be posted on or about 26 November 2014 and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov or https://www.sam.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a NATO commercial and government entity code (NCAGE code) and a Data Universal Numbering System number (DUNS number).
