- Solicitation The Contractor shall verify site conditions and conduct all field surveys and measurements as necessary to complete this project. All performance under this project shall meet or exceed US Government and Japanese Construction Standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other necessary items to complete this project identified in the Scope of Work (SOW) for Project No. ZNRE 14-1078, Paint New Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility B610 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW, Specifications and Drawings which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project Number ZNRE 14-1078, Paint New Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility B610 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. •A. Overall objective: Provide new floor coating for heavy load class, non-slip surface, chemical resistant to such agents as hydraulic fluid, "Skydol" and lubricant oils used for aircraft ground equipment maintenance/repair activities. Provide all necessary associated work to complete a fully functional space after construction. Contractor shall verify existing conditions of B610 and provide shop drawings prior to the installation of the floor coating B. General Description of Architectual Work: 1. Provide new floor coating for heavy load class with non-slip surface and chemical resistance to hydraulic fluids and lubricants for aircraft ground equipment maintenance/repair activities. a. Provide non-skid floor samples at the site so that the using agency can choose the appropriate level of non-skid surface prior to the final application. b. Replace existing sealant with new and fill in all joints where necessary. c. Repair floor deficiencies with epoxy resin mortar before installing floor coating. 2. Provide traffic lanes, emergency lanes, and work location stall lines after new floor coating is applied. Contractor shall verify existing conditions of B610 and provide shop drawings prior to the construction including new lines and markings drawing prior to final installation for using agency's approval. The magnitude of this project is expected between ¥10,394,390 and ¥25,985,975 in accordance with FAR 36.204, which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit is scheduled on 2 Nov 14 at 1000 hours, JST. *Offirors are urged and expected to attend the site visit. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 0930 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper ORIGINAL insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base.
