Specifically: Universal Starter Kit (110V) hardware and software kit is intended to manually process GoldenGate-Genotyping, Gene Expression-,MiRNA, DASL-, Methylation-, Infinium-based products using Beadchip arrays for up to 8 beadchips of one assay type. (Catalog # / ID): SE-101-1006. The Universal starter kit consists of equipments required to manually process beadchips for use with HiScan system from Illumina. USACEHR already owns an illumina HiScan system that is currently being used for next generation sequencing. The addition of Universal starter kit will allow multiple types of analyses including single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping, gene expression analysis and CpG methylation status analysis. At the current time the predominant use of the system will be used for Infinium Human Methylation 450 bead array. This is a comprehensive and high -throughput array and is ideal for identifying methylation biomarkers. These items are required for use in the Illumina iScan and HiScan Systems and Illumina Inc. is the only company capable providing the required Starter Kit. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees.
