Description

THIS AMENDMENT TO THE SOURCES SOUGHT IS THE CHANGE THE NAICS CODE FROM 236220 TO 237120 Construct a two outlet direct fueling system, two 397-kiloliter (kL) (2,500-barrel) above ground fuel storage tanks, a 114 liter-per-second (1,800 gallon-per-minute) pumphouse and fuel filter/separator facility, transfer pipeline, and fueling apron. Work includes all necessary pumps, control systems, cathodic protection, automatic tanks gauging, site work, blast deflectors, utility connections, and security lighting. Demolition of 4,856 square foot of existing facilities. Project includes remediation of fuel contaminated soil funded by other appropriations. ACA ™s mission is to provide 24-hour support of counter-air operations for the busiest alert mission in the nation in the defense of the National Capital Region (NCR); in support of USNORTHCOM CINCNORAD ™s Operation NOBLE EAGLE homeland defense. This project supports six F-16, F-15, F-22, or F-35 aircraft in a 24-hour manned facility; capable of sustained two-ship scramble, launch, combat air patrol, and quick-turn; with munitions and fuel storage, and hot pit refueling. Minimum back-to-back quick-turn refuels of 24 per day are based on a two-by-two requirement.
