- This pre-solicitation notice is for Lodging Support for the 2-108th MP BN Division during Training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina beginning on 09 January 2015. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services) Only one offer from third party vendors will be accepted. The award will be a fixed price contract with a base period of performance from 09 January 2015 - 31 December 2015 with 1 option year consisting of twelve months. Hotels shall be within a twenty (20) mile radius of following location: 627 Boyden Arbor Road, Fort Jackson, SC 29207. This acquisition is intended to be solicited as a total small business set aside based on conclusions arrived from conducting market research. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110, size standard of $30 Million. Prospective Contractors must be verified on System for Award Management (SAM) website. The solicitation will be posted on or about 04 December 2013 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation estimated at 25 November 2014 1:00 PM East Coast Time. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS should be registered on ORCA Internet Site.
