PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Posting Date:November 19, 2014 Type:Pre-Solicitation Notice Agency/Office:Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting Office Title:VISN 11 Orthotic Appliances & Related Services Classification Code:65- Medical Equipment NAICS Code:339113- Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing Description: This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting Office is seeking to acquire orthotic appliances and related services, including custom orthotics, braces, diabetic shoes, inserts, elastic supports for joints, stockings, compression garments, neuromuscular electrical stimulator stance control joints and repairs to those veterans devices that requirement and are eligible for assistance. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP) VA251-14-R-0484 is to follow. The Government anticipates release of the RFP to be November 21, 2014 with a due date of December 23, 2014. These dates are subject to change. Interested Offerors must refer to the final released RFP on Federal Business Opportunities for due dates, times, and submission requirements.
