- Justification and Approval The Department of Defense Education Activity intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract award on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available" to Dude Solutions, Inc., 11000 Regency Parkway Suite 200, Cary, North Carolina 27518-8518. Description of supplies and/or services: The Department of Defense Education Activity has a requirement to manage operations digitally from the district, area, and system levels. DoDEA requires a suite of applications that perform the following seven functions that are tailored to the needs of K-12 schools. 1) Facility Management Software 2) Inventory Management Software 3) Maintenance Request Management Software 4) Wireless interface for Maintenance Request Management Software 5) Planned Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Management Software 6) Automation for Alarms that are Critical -Alarm Integration Software 7) Energy Management Utility Bill Management Software This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
