- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. NO AWARD WILL BE GENERATED FROM THIS NOTICE. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Region 3, North Service Center, Pittsburgh Field Office intends to compete a requirement for the renovation of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) office space and waiting area. The work will take place at the Edward N. Cahn Federal Building, located at 504 Hamilton Avenue, Allentown, PA 18101. General Scope of Services: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to upgrade the security standards and install new computer room infrastructure equipment at the USAO office and waiting area. The work required by this contract shall be performed in accordance with federal, state, local codes, and this scope of work. The Contractor must also complete a pre-alteration assessment which meets the requirements of a pre-construction survey, and a project design survey if appropriate, and provide a report per ASTM E2356-10. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. In accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b), the anticipated contract will be competed as a total 100% small business set-aside. The anticipated contract will be procured utilizing the Best Value procedures.
