Description
PHALANX JOTFOC PHALANX RFQ Praemittias Defense Solutions Phalanx System Effective Computer Network Operations (CNO) training scenarios require prompt, capable, and communicative role players. While training cadres always attempt to find these engaging candidates - no golden rule exists by which an individual's professionalism as a role player can be assessed. The resulting mix of half committed actors quickly hinders and, at times, degrades the training experience for both instructors and students. Designed with the needs of the trainer and student in mind, the PHALANX system provides a consistently controllable role player that requires no training or monitoring. Utilizing pre-made scenarios of their own design, trainers can place PHALANX nodes in separate geographic locations and comfortably lower the priority of assessing and monitoring role player initiative and capability. Trainers can ensure that generated data remains consistent and flexible in order to provide students matching environments, offering them the same opportunities to succeed and allowing trainers to fairly assess every student. The PHALANX system is comprised of 4 components. 1) Command & Control Server (C2): Trainers completely control each node via a C2 server. Interactive calendars enable activity scheduling which can generate actions immediately or at a later point. Interactive maps provide training cadre with expansive visuals, displaying student locations in relation to each node. 2) Central Server: Real time access and regular archiving of locational data and activity tasking are provided by the central sever. 3) Phalanx node: Available in two varieties, the PHALANX light node has the ability to look/act like any operating system/hardware combination while simply requiring access to an existing WiFi or Ethernet network. The PHALANX heavy node is an all-in-one platform, offering the same Praemittias Defense Solutions: a wholly owned Subsidiary of The Praemittias Group, Inc. | 8871 Ridgeline Blvd, Suite 250 | Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 capabilities of the PHALANX light, with the continual connection security of an administrative cellular backhaul connection. 4) Student Tracker: An optional Android application, the student tracker surreptitiously provides the central server with a trainee's location in comparison to PHALANX nodes. This allows trainers to dynamically assess a trainee's ability to prosecute the node while maintaining a low operating posture.
