- General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: FA4897-15-B-0001 Classification Code: M - Operation of Government-owned facilities Set Aside: 8(a) Competitive NAICS Code - 722310 - Food Service Contractors Contract Office Address Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 366 CONS, 366 Gunfighter Ave Ste 498, Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648-5258, UNITED STATES Description The contractor shall, except as specified in the Performance Work Statement as government furnished property or services, provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, supervision, supplies and services necessary to serve food, prepare salads, and perform dining facility food services as well as preventative maintenance and equipment repair for all food service equipment at the Wagon Wheel Dining Facility located at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) ID., seven days per week. In the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include cooking, serving, and replenishing food to ensure continued service in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year and four (4) one-year options. The Base Year Period of Performance will be 1 Apr 15 - 31 Mar 16. The period of performance for the option years will be 1 Apr through 31 Mar. The North American Industry System code is 722310. This acquisition is a competitive 8(a) set-aside. All offerors require 8(a) certification and verification. There is no geographic restriction. SBA Requirement Number: 1087-15-500452. Joint Venture Agreements - Joint Ventures are allowable on competitive 8(a) set-asides and must be received by SBA prior to bid opening date and approved before award of a resulting contract. If you are contemplating a joint venture on this project, you must advise your assigned Business Opportunityt Specialist (BOS) as soon as possible. It is also recommended that the agreement be submitted as soon as practicable to ensure compliance with established regulations. Any corrections and/or changes can be made only when your BOS has adequate time for a thorough review before the proposal due date. NO CORRECTIONS AND/OR CHANGES ARE ALLOWED AFTER TIME OF SUBMISSION OF BIDS. A formal Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued on or about 29 Dec 14 via Fed Biz Opps. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
