Description

Ambulance Services The Government intends to release solicitation VA244-14-R-0989 for paramedic and ambulance services and all inclusive services to include medical equipment necessary for the transportation of qualified Veterans of the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC). LVAMC consists of one main campus/location: Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA., 17042, which includes a medical center, emergency room, psychiatric care, and six Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS) in Berks, Camp Hill, Frackville, Lancaster, Pottsville, and York, Pennsylvania. The Contractor shall provide ambulance coverage for the LVAMC, 24 hours per day/7 days per week, 365 days per year. The intent of this contract is to furnish ground ambulance emergency transport services, for basic life support transport and advanced life support transport, including all necessary personnel, labor, supervision, management, vehicles, equipment, materials, and supplies, to the Lebanon VAMC to include six Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS), in accordance with all the contract terms, conditions, provisions and requirements. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or shortly after December 8, 2014. This full solicitation will be unrestricted with preference to SDVOSB and VOSB in accordance with VAAR 852.215-70. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 621910, Ambulance Services, size standard $15,000,000.00. This will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity Contract. The period of performance will be five (5) years with the issuance of task orders as required.
