- Description of Requirement: This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for a service requirement entitled: Janitorial Services Little Goose Dam. This is a non-personal services contract to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment and other items and services necessary to perform janitorial services at Little Goose Lock and Dam. The work includes mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing and/or sealing, vacuuming, spot cleaning and steam cleaning various flooring and floor covering materials including those on stairways and landings. Surface dusting, cleaning of windows and window coverings, upholstery cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities and fixtures, cleaning of lunchroom and kitchen appliances, fixtures and facilities and trash removal. The objective is to provide a clean, professional, well-maintained facility that is used by the general public, government contractors and government personnel. Site visit: A site visit will be offered approximately 5-7 days after the solicitation is made available to bidders. The solicitation will include details regarding the site visit. Other information: The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov) when released. Quotes/Proposals will be due approximately 2 weeks after the actual solicitation issuance date. This is scheduled to be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price Service contract. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 561720 size standard: $16.5 Million average annual income. Place of Contract Performance Little Goose Lock and Dam, 1001 Little Goose Dam Rd., Dayton, WA 99328-8602 Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice.
