- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command (MSC) is seeking information on potential sources for OEM c er ti f i e d parts for to be installed on USNS LEROY GRUMMAN (T-AO 195) for four (4) e a ch Turbochargers for the Main Pr o pulsion Diesel E ngines on the USNS LEROY GRUMMAN(T-AO 195) as MSC intends to make an "Award of a contract o n a sole source basis" To ABB Inc. of New Brunswick NJ, for four (4) new ASEA BROWN BOVERI (AB B ) Turbochargers Rotors for the USNS GRUMMAN. The specific requirement is as follows: Four (4) Rotor, Complete /TURBOCHARGER,EXAUST-GAS MDL-VTR454-11. The required delivery date is 2-23-2015. Place of delivery will be: N32205 MSC W143 Warehouse 1968 Gilbert Street DWY 10 Norfolk VA 23511 The estimated issue date of the synopsis/solicitation N32205-15-T-1245 is on or about 16 December 2014. After issuance, the solicitation and all required supporting documentation may be obtained on the FedBizOpps website: https://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation number N32205-15-T-1245. All Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether, a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. The Appropriate NAICS Code is 332613 which has a size standard of 500 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested items. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) The facility where the work will be performed; (3) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions will not be returned. Please provide your response to this sources sought notice by 12:00 p.m. EST on 8 December 2014.
