Description
THIS IS A SYNOPSIS FOR THE CASS/RTCASS PERFORMANCE BASED LOGISITICS REQUIREMENT. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a solicitation for Performance Based Logistics (PBL). This PBL will provide sustainment support of all CASS and RTCASS systems, which are in-service items. The contract will provide coverage for the AN/USM-636 CASS Hybrid, CASS Radio Frequency (RF), CASS Communication-Navigation-Identification (CNI), CASS High Power (HP), AN/USM-702 RTCASS, AN/USM-725 RTCASS HP, and RTCASS Depot configuration systems, along with CASS/RTCASS subsystems and ancillary devices. PBL efforts include providing for all aspects of the readiness, availability, reliability and sustainment of all covered items including CASS/RTCASS subsystems and associated ancillary items. Sustainment includes all covered items, and also encompasses sustainment support of all repairable and non-DLA consumable items, obsolescence management, and reliability/sustainment. The CASS and RTCASS systems and ancillary components are installed at Fleet as well as land-based sites in CONUS (Continental US) and OCONUS (Outside Continental US) locations. The Navy's intent is to solicit utilizing full and open competitive procedures resulting in a single award of a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The period of performance is intended to be up to seven years (including options). The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select 'Doing Business' and then 'Open Solicitations.' Look for amendments on the web page. Hard copy of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors.
