- Description
- Project Drawings Project Specifications Solicitation Package Western Area Power Administration (Western), Upper Great Plains Region (UGPR), requires miscellaneous general construction, alteration and repair of its facilities located within the territory of the UGPR. The types of work required include but are not limited to concrete, grading and other site work required to expand or upgrade existing substations. This will be a firm-fixed priced Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The resultant contract(s) will have a 36-month base period. The minimum guarantee is $50,000 per contract. The contract ceiling is $9 million. Task orders awarded under the resultant contract(s) will vary in size and complexity. This is a Competitive 8(a) procurement restricted to qualified/eligible 8(a) firms. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130 with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million. It is anticipated that a multiple-award contract (up to three awards) will result from the solicitation. The successful contractor(s) will be selected using Performance-Price Tradeoff procedures. This solicitation will be issued electronically today, November 25, 2014, on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) https://www.fbo.gov/ web page. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/).
