Description

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to execute an order under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-14-G-4300 or N00024-14-G-4301 for Nuclear Pipe Fitter Supervisors; Marine Chemist/Competent Person Support Services; and Journey Level Nuclear Pipe Fitters in support of a U.S. Naval Vessel. The two prime contractors competing for this requirement are: Electric Boat Corporation (75 Eastern Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340 (BOA N00024-14-G-4300) and Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, 4101 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607 (BOA N00024-14-G-4301). Contractor shall fabricate, install modify and repair piping/hoses in the shop and aboard ship. Layout template, target, bend, assemble, install and prepare pipe for welding and brazing. Make various kinds of pressure joints within the piping system. The proposed agreement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.303 utilizing Class J&A number 40,970. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals.
