- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for its Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for Operating and Computing Environment (OCE) for the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA). Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a 9 month interim bridge contract to InfoZen, Inc., located at 6700 A Rockledge Drive, Suite 300, Bethesda, MD. This new interim bridge contract will allow for the continuation of services and will continue to address the requirements of the OIA for the deployment, implementation, operation, and maintenance of a broad range of transportation vetting programs designed to protect the U.S. Transportation system against terrorism and threats to National Security. In general, vetting is described as the thorough examination or investigation of the behaviors, connections, sympathies, associations, and conveyances of persons, goods, things, and entities to identify explicit and implicit associations for suitability and reliability for a particular activity that requires a high degree of trust or loyalty. This interim bridge contract will also continue to provide continuous, uninterrupted service of manufacturer hardware and software renewal maintenance support for the OIA Operations and Maintenance of the Operating and Computing Environment (OIA/OCE) at TSA HQ, Colorado Springs, CO and Annapolis Junction, MD. This interim bridge contract will provide a base period of performance of 100 days and one (1) six-month option period to support the continuous, uninterrupted service to the OIA OCE beginning December 16, 2014 through September 15, 2015 (if option is exercised). The estimated ceiling costs for this interim bridge contract is approximately $11,654,157. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responses received within four (4) calendar days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed interim bridge contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.
