- J&A NOTICE OF INTENT TO MODIFY A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Medium Recovery Range (MRR) intends to modify purchase order HSCG38-14-P-700322 reference P00002 to include additional in scope work. This purchase order was solicited and negotiated with one source, VX Aerospace Corporation. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1) (ii), the Pan is available from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413 with a size standard of 1000 Employees. This requirement is set aside for small business. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 12:00 P.M., (EST) on 4 Dec 2014. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
