- Preliminary Statement Of Work SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (SSS) Hazardous Minimization Center (HAZMINCEN) Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This announcement seeks information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes in support of market research by the United States Air Force. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and this is not an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this synopsis. Tinker Air force Base has been tasked to solicit for an award for the HAZMINCEN hazardous material and hazardous waste operations and management support to CSCW-1, and fleet Reconnaissance Squadrons Three, Four, Seven, and all other contractors and tenants operating under direction of CSCW-1. The HAZMINCEN requirement will be Small Business Set Aside, competitive, Firm fixed-price. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this letter or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB),Small Disadvantage Business, and Veteran Owned. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUB Zone and SDVOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Description/Scope of Work: Introduction Tinker Air Force Base intends to contract with commercial vendors for the transportation and disposal hazardous wastes generated at various sites where the service is required. Requirements The waste contractor must be able to provide waste pickup and disposal services as needed at CSCW-1 work sites. Contractor must be capable of working in the state of Oklahoma. The contractor must be capable of responding within 30 Minutes for service request for after hours, spill response or waste drum pickup. NAICS Code: 562112 Product Service Code: F108 Size Standard: $38.5M The official Synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on FBO.gov and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued.  The Contractor shall be capable of performing all tasks in accordance with the Statement of Work dated October 7, 2014. Firm's response to this Synopsis shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information: 1. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2. Firm's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3. Experience: Contractor must provide a capability statement, a brief description of similar projects, customer name, timeliness of the performance, and customer satisfaction and dollar value of the project. No more than 5 similar jobs. 4. Firm's small business category and Business Size (Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Tribal Owned. 5. Firm's Joint Venture information if applicable - existing 6. GSA Schedule if applicable Interested Firm's shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 2:00 P.M. CST on Monday December 15, 2014. All interested firms must be registered in SAM, and remain current for the duration of the contract to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
