Description

Statement of Work The Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) organization within the Department of Treasury's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has identified a requirement to renew its licenses for Virto software, which enhances the functionality of Microsoft SharePoint 2010. Virto software adds capabilities to the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) SharePoint platform. These capabilities include enhanced calendar integration and improved bulk file operations. The ECM program offers SharePoint, a web application framework and platform developed by Microsoft, as a shared-service offering. SharePoint offers basic functionality for the calendar view and manipulating files; however, these capabilities face limitations. The ECM program has integrated add-on software to augment these capabilities and address specific limitations. The Virto Calendar enables further integration of Microsoft Exhange calendar(s) with a single SharePoint calendar. The software also allows for more flexibility in customizing the calendar interface. The Virto Bulk Files Operations Toolkit enables users to upload and download multiple files to and from SharePoint. The software also facilitates the use of.zip files during these processes. This added functionality can save users time and allow for greater ease-of-use.
