- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) plans to add 2 NSNs to the Parker Hannifin contract SPE4AX-14-D-9413. DLA considers these item sole sourced to Parker Hannifin because the contractor has claimed proprietary rights to the data. DLA has coded these assets AMC/AMSC as "3/R" IAW DFARS PGI 217.75. This is not a small business set aside. The NSNs are the piston rods in the integrated servo actuators for the flaperons/elevators and the rudder on the F-16. The piston rods ordered on the resulting contract will replace the existing piston rods, including replacing the NSN and part number. The customers will be USAF and FMS customers with various delivery locations. The Parker Hannifin contract is a 5 year contract with an option for an additional 5 years. Annual demand for these items is listed below. The NSN, Part Number, and Nomenclature are listed below. The part numbers are Parker Hannifin Cage 82106 part numbers. Item 0001: NSN 1680-01-632-7588, P/N 3833137-1. Piston Rod for Flapperon/Elevator ISA. Replaces NSN 1680-01-074-6646, P/N 3833037-5. Estimated annual demand for the contract period: 1,012 per year. Item 0002: NSN 1680-01-632-9296, P/N 3834137-1. Piston Rod for Rudder ISA. Replaces NSN 1680-01-059-6870, P/N 3834037-5. Estimated annual demand for the contract period: 300 per year. The proposed solicitation number is SPRHA4-15-R-1001. This synopsis will be open until close of business 17 December 2014. This acquisition will be conducted under the authority found in FAR 6.301-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and/or proposal which shall be considered by DLA. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov.
