Description

Software Specifications and CLIN structure for MAESTRO Software The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement for one (1) MAESTRO Maintenance & Support license for the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project to support both SFLC ESD and the Ship Design Team. MAESTRO is a whole ship Finite Element Analysis analytical software tool. In accordance with FAR 52.216-1 the Government contemplates a Purchase Order for the procurement of this license. The final contract award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The anticipated contract award date is 16 December 2014. Award can be made only to an offeror that is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM information is available at www.sam.gov. Software Specifications for MAESTRO Software can be found in attachment #1 A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on a "Sole Source" basis for Other than Full and Open Competition for the procurement of this software to support the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project. This software has no authorized resellers and will be purchased directly from the manufacturer. A Sole Source Justification and Approval has been approved for this procurement strategy.
