- The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the overhaul of the following asset: NOMENCLATURE: Coupling Assembly, Servo (UH-60) INPUT NSN / PART NUMBER: 1615-01-141-7532 / 7040-06100-042 OUTPUT NSN / PART NUMBER: 1615-01-141-7532 / 70400-06100-042 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: 250 each. The proposed contractual action will be a one-time buy Firm Fixed Price Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with the quantity listed above. This item is non-commercial; FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. This procurement is restricted to the following sources: Overhaul Support Services LLC (CAGE Code: 52VE4), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE Code: 78286), and PCX Aerostructures, LLC-Newington (CAGE Code: 82001). Maintenance and Overhaul shall be done in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1615-365 change #1 dated 4 October 2010 to include all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs) and AMCOM Engineering Directives (AEDs). This item has been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Pursuant to the provisions of Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety Items and Related Services, as implemented for acquisition by Department of Defense, Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS 209-270), contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI's can only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. The only approved sources for this requirement are: Overhaul Support Services LLC (CAGE Code: 52VE4), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE Code: 78286), and PCX Aerostructures, LLC-Newington (CAGE Code: 82001). Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by mail. You may mail your request to Joseph R. Thomas, CCAM-ALM, Bldg 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. Proposals can be hand-carried, mailed via the US Postal Service, or delivered by a commercial delivery service. No FAX or email responses shall be accepted for the initial proposal. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
