- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This specification is for the manufacture and supply of a 15 quote mark Diameter Pintle Ball part number MK PB-1A. The Pintle Ball shall be supplied in accordance with the specifications and details supplied on drawing number 0242SN.DGN. The materials should conform to the following requirements. Steel Forgings, ASTM A668-04, Class D, carbon content not to exceed 0.35 percent. Corrosion Resisting Welding Rod, AWS A5.4-92, E309 Series Rod
