- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Aero Fluid Products, 313 Gillett St, Painesville, OH for the depot capability establishment for the Relief Direct Operated Valve, P/N C5380-01 installed on the P-8A Aircraft. This will include the procurement of proprietary provisioning, engineering, and other technical data, along with peculiar support and test equipment that will provide organic depot-level maintenance repair capability for the P-8A fuel system component, Relief Direct Operated Valve, P/N C5380-01, at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in North Island, CA. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Aero Fluid Products because this firm is considered the only responsible source capable to perform this effort. The Government does not own technical data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Responses should reference N68335-15-R-0036.
