- MARKET RESEARCH FOR SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS DUE BY 2:00 PM ON DECEMBER 10, 2014. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. When and if a solicitation is issued, it will be issued under a different solicitation number at a later time. The General Services Administration (GSA) New England is seeking HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO), 8(a), and all other Small Businesses capable of General Construction capabilities to perform the requirement as follows: Third Floor : Renovate approximately 5,000 square feet to convert an existing jury deliberation room into new chamber. Reconfigure prisoner and Judge's access to Courtroom 3. Replace jury box, and reconfigure the judge's bench. Renovate space currently occupied by the U.S. Attorney's Office into a Law Clerk and Court Reporter offices. Renovate existing the Law Clerk offices as required to accommodate a jury deliberation suit. Second Floor : Renovate approximately 1,200 square feet to rework the Judge's entrance to Courtroom 2. Work will include converting adjacent meeting room into a jury deliberation room. Basement : Renovate approximately 400 square feet to accommodate meeting/office space for the United States Attorney Office (USAO). This room will replace the USAO's existing 3 rd floor rooms. Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow an informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as either an SDVO or HUBZone Small Business Set-aside. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this service is 236220. The Small Business Size standard is $36.5 MILLION. Failure to answer any of these questions may result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. 1. Identify past experience which demonstrates that your firm is qualified to perform this type of work. 2. If this procurement is set aside, will your firm submit an offer? Submitted documentation will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining the potential capabilities of the respondent firms. This Sources Sought notice is for the purpose of determining the availability of Contractors and not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal for this requirement will be issued at a later date under a different solicitation number.
