Description
Pictures of used round hay baler for trade in. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-32SD-S-15-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 333111 Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. The USDA, ARS, Dale Bumpers Small Farms Research Center, 6883 South State Highway 23, Booneville, AR 72927, has a requirement for one (1) new 2014 model Round Hay Baler. The minimum required specifications are as follows: The following minimum specifications will be used for technical evaluation: •New 2014 Model Round Hay Baler •4'X6' Round bale •Must come with an on baler moisture meter capable of monitoring hay moister while baling. •Must be capable of wrapping bale with Net, Twine (with cover edge), and B-Wrap to protect hay quality •Must be Silage Special with: oStaggered roll-auger kit oStarter-roll-scraper knife and screen oAuxiliary take-up rolls •Chain size: 80 for upper and lower drive roll chain •Shaft size on top and bottom rollers: 1.5-in. diameter •Bearing size on top and bottom rollers: 130-mm OD •7-in. wide diamond tread belts •Adjustable Hitch allowing drawbar to fall between 13-in. to 22-in. from ground •Pickup Unit: oFlare to Flare width of 71-in. oWith a full length reinforced toolbar oChain driven. oSemi-pneumatic gauge wheel oHydraulic pickup lift •Vertical forming bale chamber •Bale ejector push bar •Driveline: o540 RPM o80 degree of articulation oRotating driveling for easier hookup oPTO remains engaged during bale ejection oSlip-Clutch with sensor that alerts operator by monitor oMust have a PTO driveline holder •Tires: 21.5L-16.1 10 Ply High Flotation tires •Must have a grease bank and automatic chain oilers In addition, the USDA, ARS, DBSFRC, has a used, but operable 2000 John Deere 566 Round Baler they would like to trade in. The location would like to know what the trade in allowance would be on the John Deere 566 round baler. See attachment for photos of the equipment to be traded in. The USDA, ARS, DBSFRC requires the Round Hay Baler to be delivered by February 4, 2015 or sooner. Each offeror shall include their proposed delivery schedule as part of their quotation. Acceptance and FOB point are destination. In order to be considered for award offerors shall provide a quotation on company letterhead valid for at least 60 days and include a description of the item in sufficient detail to evaluate their product against the above minimum specifications. Quoted price MUST include delivery costs (FOB Destination). Each offeror MUST have an active System for Award Management registration (www.sam.gov) to be considered for award.
