Solicitation Number:VA256-15-Q-0084 Notice Type:Solicitation Notice Description:Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repair Service The Contractor shall provide all management, parts, tools, maintenance, etc., necessary to provide Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) preventive maintenance (PM) and repair service to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Southwest Louisiana Veterans HealthCare System (SLVHCS) New Orleans and Baton Rouge Louisiana facilities Integrated Security Electronic System, during the hours of operation of 7:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday excluding Federal holidays. The CCTV Maintenance Service must be provided by trained and certified personnel to ensure that the equipment maintains operational functionability. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southwest Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) New Orleans and Baton Rouge Louisiana facilities currently have 417 Cameras and 24 DVRs. The Contractor shall supply system upgrades as part of the maintenance program, which shall include phone support and updates as released. The contract Period of Performance (POP) shall be for twelve (12) months from January 01, 2015 thru December 31, 2015 with provisions for up to four-1 year extension options that would extend the contract through November 30, 2019. Offerors are urged and expected to attend a schedule Pre-Bid Site Visit Conference to inspect the site and satisfy themselves regarding the general conditions that may affect the work and cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the work site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The Pre-Bid Site Visit Conference date is set for Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans, Louisiana; attendee shall meet in the Parking Garage Lobby. Prospective Offerors are to contact Claude Humphrey at: 479-444-5006 (claude.humphrey@va.gov) for attendance confirmation. This requirement is restricted and set-aside for GSA Schedule holders. The requirement NAICS code is 334290. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. The complete solicitation package is attached hereto. All offers must be submitted to the attention of the Contracting Officer identified and listed on the Standard form 1449, section 31b and to the address identified on the Standard form 1449, section 16. E-mail proposals will be acceptable at claude.humphey@va.gov. Any proposal received after the closing date and time will be considered late and will not be accepted.
