- This is a SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the service described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Mike Bottary at Michael.bottary@va.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Purpose: John J Pershing VAMC is requesting High Definition LCD LED Monitors that are compatible for use with Olympus Endoscopy Systems. These monitors will be used in our Endoscopy area to accurately diagnose Gastrointestinal disorders. We are requesting four HD LCD LED Monitors to include: 1. 26 inch full HD LCD LED panel, minimum 1920x1080 resolution, contrast ratio of 1000:1, aspect ratio 16:10 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees (horizontal and vertical). 2. Color tones calibrated for use with Olympus flexible endoscopes. 3. Adjustable image size using various scanning modes, synchronizing full height and full screen functionality. 4. Multiple HD and SD inputs to include HD/SD SDI (x2), Video, Y/C, Analog RGB+EXT -Sync, HD15, and DVI (x2) 5. Multi-modality display capability, including Picture In Picture (PIP) and Picture Out Picture (POP) with various image size combinations. 6. Ability to adjust image quality and gamma correction separately for each PIP or POP screen. 7. Availability to allow the user to program and customize settings. 8. To include mounting adapters for flat panel monitors. Deliver To: John J Pershing VA Medical Center 1500 N. Westwood Blvd Poplar Bluff, MO. 63901 Bldg. 23 Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to Mike Bottary at Michael.bottary@va.gov 1) Offerors name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. 2) Offerors interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3) Company's DUNS number, type of small business and Business Size. 4) Brief capability statement with enough information to determine if the company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statement regarding the companys ability to provide the service above. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest, however, preference will be given IAW FAR Part 8 and VAAR Part 808. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of available contractors. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pays for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All interested contractors should notify this office via email by 4:00 PM central Time on 09 DEC 2014.
