Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Strategic Acquisition Center (OAO SAC) on behalf of Veterans Health Administration (VHA)(VA's Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Department) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR 15.201(e) to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources to provide health/wellness and sick/ injured insurance for Service Dogs. Specifically the services are to provide both (1) comprehensive wellness coverage and (2) sick/injured insurance coverage for all trained and certified Service Dogs regardless of age, breed, geographic location or pre-existing medical condition(s).
