- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to procure animal feed and hay located at the USDA, APHIS, VS Animal Import/Export Center at 6300 NW 36th Street in Miami, Florida 33122. The period of performance will beginning on January 1, 2015 or date of award, whichever is first, through September 30, 2015 with four option years for a maximum contract length of five years. The estimated quantities for CLIN001 - Timothy Hay 197,000lbs and for CLIN002 - Whole Oats 96,000lbs for the base years only. USDA APHIS intends to award an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery commercial supplies contract with economic price adjustment for the animal feed and hay limited to the USDA, APHIS, VS, located the USDA APHIS, VS Animal Import/Export Center at 6300 NW 36th Street in Miami, Florida 33122. The award of a new contract will be based on lowest priced, technically acceptable offer to meet the Governments requirements. The USDA, APHIS, VS, Animal Import/Export Center will establish acceptable requirements for the hay and feed through the submission of hay and feed samples to be supplied by the vendor. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-15-0029 will be released on or about December 15, 2014 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. All responsible offers may submit an offer to the solicitation. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site.
