Other Than Small Business Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought No.: SS-BARDA-2014-BARDA_THERMAL_BURN_MEDICAL_COUNTERMEASURES-01 The purpose of this Other Than Small Business Sources Sought Notice (OTSBSSN) is to seek declarations of technical capabilities, data, and materials from qualified other than small business concerns. The proposed NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) for this proposed requirement is 339113. Please note that a separate Small Business Sources Sought Notice (SBSSN) is also be posted concurrently regarding this possible requirement, and is intended solely for prospective offeror's that are considered to be a Small Business. Prospective offeror's should respond to the appropriate SSN relative to their business size standard. • BARDA seeks to identify Medical Countermeasure MCM products suitable for fieldcare in mass-casualty situations which are commercially available and indicated for wound management of both partial, and full-skin-thickness thermal burn injuries and preferably, those which can prevent exacerbation of these injuries prior to administration of definitive care. • BARDA seeks to understand the medical/surgical supply chain preparedness, manufacturing surge capacity, and response capabilities that product manufacturers, vendors and distributors (termed Sponsors, for the intent of this Notice) can provide products which when as part of kits or packs can serve the needs as part of an USG response in a public health emergency.
