- STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS (SOR) This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that is currently in use at the station. The Saint Louis, MO. VAMC, Eye Surgery requires a Femtosecond Laser System with components as stated below. All Offerors of minimum equal products shall include an equipment brochure which clearly defines the product or offer will not be considered. Any information submitted by an offer for consideration will not be returned and will remain the property of the VA. The contractor shall provide at minimum the equal salient characteristics as stated below and as per Price/Cost Schedule: 1 (EA) ITEM# 8065998162 LenSx Femtosecond Laser System or equal 1 (EA) ITEM# 8065998185 LenSx UPS (120V) or equal Laser type: Femtosecond infrared laser Mode: Fundamental (TEM00) Cone angle: 0.20 sr (+/- 0.05 sr) half angle Laser pulse width: 600-800 fs (+/- 50 fs) Central laser wavelength: 1030 nm (+/- 5 nm) OCT device: Wavelight 820-880 nm (+/- 5 nm) 3.0 mW (+/- 0.2 mW) maximum power Input voltage: Configurable 100V/12A, 120V/10A, 220-240V/7A 50/60 Hz Maximum electrical load: Less or equal to 1.2 kW External Fuse (x2) 3AG, Fast Acting, 250V, 15 A Console dimensions Footprint: 24" W x 30" Lx 48" H Beam delivery device: 8" W x 23" L x 20" H Beam delivery device height Min 28.1 inches Max 41.7 inches (floor to applanation lens) Ambient operating temperature: 18-24 degrees Celsius -Ability to interface with current clinic reference unit to allow for pre-operative surgical planning in clinic -510k clearance for single plane, multi-plane, and arcuate incisions in the cornea, capsulorhexis, and lens fragmentation at the time of cataract surgery -Variable numeric aperture to deliver laser energy -Do not have an attached bed -Docking device shall utilize a non-liquid, curved applanation patient interface -OCT must take a 360 degree image and display that image without combining images from different planes
