- Fill Valve Specs FDA-SOL-1142815, Amendment 0001 The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received from potential offerors and to extend the due date to Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10:00 am ET. Be advised that no further questions are being accepted. Questions and Answers 1. Question: How many tanks will be involved in the delivery? Answer: There are five (5) tanks. Each tank holds 5,000 gallons of fuel for a total of 25,000 gallons, if they are completely empty. 2. Question: Are the tanks above ground or underground - will a pump be required? Answer: The tanks are above ground and a pump will be required. 3. Question: Can a Tractor Trailer access the areas where the tanks are located - enter and leave? Answer: Yes, a tractor trailer can access the area. A few additional hoses may be required. 4. Question: Are there any special fitting for the tanks? Answer: Please see attachments to view the specs on the fill valve type. 5. Question: Are there special length of hoses required? Answer: There is approximately 120 feet of distance to the last above ground tank, though there is partial access, some additional hose may be required. 6. Who is the POC at the point where the fuel will be delivered - email address, phone number, fax number? Answer: The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will be identified upon contract award 7. Will an escort be required at the gate? Answer: Yes, the contractor will have to stop at the gate, and be required to obtain a security pass. The COR will meet the contractor at the security gate for access to the site. The contractor shall make arrangements with the COR for delivery. 8. May we use a tank truck with 7500 gallon capacity? Answer: Yes 9. Which price information service do you use for base reference price, OPIS OIL PRICE INFORMATION SERVICE PHILADELPHIA WHOLESALE RACK AVERAGE FOR USLD NO.2 DIESEL example etc.? Answer: Please provide commercial retail pricing for an end-user with all applicable discounts that you wish to apply. 10. Is the fuel going into tanks or generators. If tanks, can you tell me the size of the tank please? Answer: Please see the answer to question #1 (End of Question & Answers) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
