- Sources Sought Notice- National Contracts Standardization Program The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Offers are not being solicited at this time. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center is conducting market research to assess industry capabilities for distribution of the Pharmaceutical Drug Bumetanide Tablets, under NAICS Code 325412, to VA and other Government Agencies (OGAs). The VA is seeking responses to this request for information from interested, capable firms that can meet all of the requirements set forth below. Capabilities should include but are not limited to: "Is your firm currently selling all the package strengths and package sizes commercially as indicated in the table below? "Is your firm currently selling all package sizes with a child proof closure (safety cap)? Glass bottles are not acceptable. " Is your firm able to provide the estimated annual quantities? "Would your firm be able to fill an initial order up to 30% of the estimated annual quantities? "Is your firm able to deliver the product to the VA's Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor no later than 45 days after award? "If not the manufacturer of the product, is your firm able to provide a Letter of Commitment from the manufacturer? The estimated quantities are as follows: 1.BUMETANIDE TABLETS 0.5 MG PACKAGE SIZE (BOTTLES) 100 TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL USAGE (BOTTLES) 6,652 2.BUMETANIDE TABLETS 1 MG PACKAGE SIZE (BOTTLES) 100 TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL USAGE (BOTTLES) 41,608 3.BUMETANIDE TABLETS 2 MG PACKAGE SIZE (BOTTLES) 100 TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL USAGE (BOTTLES) 17,949 Interested and capable respondents able to meet all the requirements of this notice are requested to respond to this notice by providing information to include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNs number (www.dnb.com), business size, and manufacturer of the drug. Responses will be accepted via email to Stephanie Thigpen Stephanie.Thigpen@va.gov at your earliest convenience, but no later than December 19, 2014, 2:30pm Central Time.
