Description
J&A The EW/Sensor technology, modeling, simulation and analysis research program (EWTA) conducts collaborative research with the objective to increase USAF capabilities to conduct countermeasures and information warfare against current, evolving, and new threats. EWTA exploits technologies that can provide solutions to warfighter EW/sensor deficiencies. It also performs experiments and demonstrations to develop, evolve, evaluate, verify, and validate EW/sensor technologies and concepts. EWTA continues a unified program of research, concept development, analyses, and experimentation to determine and validate the mission effectiveness of EW/sensor technologies and their overall systems. IDAL can be utilized as a Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) that must respond to unforeseen/unplanned requirements that result from world crisis situations and/or new advanced threat data/deployments. Therefore, EWTA must provide the EW/sensor technology, simulation research and operational assessments required to respond to these unexpected, time critical, urgent requirements. Technical POC is William Austin, AFRL/RYWD, 937-528-8674.
