Description

Synopsis: The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for a Mobile MRI Unit and Technical MRI Staffing specifically a MRI System in a mobile unit with a minimum 1.5 tesla magnet system designed to perform body, abdominal, neurological, vascular, and extremity and joint imaging. The provider will be responsible for maintenance of all connectivity cables from the unit to the fix connectivity ports. The provider will insure that all software and licenses necessary to have full DICOM communication between the MRI workstation technology and the Department of Veterans Affairs Radiology service medical (Lexmark) printers are acquired and installed. Communications between the MRI System and Radiology Service PACS will ensure a robust means of DICOM transfer of MRI studies to the VAMC Radiology Service PACS is operational.
