Description

This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to award the following Sole Source bridge contractual action at a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with Dockside Imaging, LLC. The purpose of this action is to contract for Mobile MRI Services for Benefit-Eligible Veterans at the Lincoln and Grand Island, NE VA Medical Clinics. This procurement will be made under Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by the Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition. At this time, Dockside Imaging, LLC is the only known contractor that has the manpower, experience, technical/knowledge, and combined capabilities to perform this critical mission. This short term contract is anticipated to be awarded within the next 15 days. The long term contract will be advertised and will likely be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. This is a notice of intent of a sole source contract award and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes that VA should not pursue this sole source bridge procurement with Dockside Imaging, then they should submit information by 4:00 pm CDT on December 15, 2014 to Julie.Stout@va.gov. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
