- Sources Sought Notice for notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Boston intends to negotiate and award a contract to procure (2) Catheters, Thermocool Smart Touch Bidirectional (1) DF and (1) FJ accessories for the Carto XP Cardiac Electro Anatomical Mapping System from Biosense Webster, Inc., a Division of Johnson and Johnson Healthcare, 3333 S. Diamond Canyon Rd., Diamond Bar, CA 91765-4701. The solicitation will be released on a sole source basis to Biosense Webster, Inc., the only known source to provide the catheter accessories compatible with the Carto XP Cardiac Electro Anatomical Mapping System. The applicable NAICS code is 339112. The FSC/PSC is 6515. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be posted to this site. Responses must be double-spaced with 1" margins on all sides and use a standard font no smaller than 12 point. Responses are due no later than three (3) days after this notice. Responses will not be considered after that date. A decision not to compete this requirement is based upon this notice and the Justification and Approval (J&A) to be posted to this site. Service Disabled and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB and VOSB) contracting with VA are to be registered and certified in VetBiz if seeking consideration under PL 109-461 (www.vetbiz.gov - Vendor Information Pages - VIP). All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (www.samgov).
