Aviation Hanger – Elevations Artifact Cleaning Map List of Aircraft and spacecraft to be cleaned NASM Artifact Cleaning Guidelines Request for Proposal The Smithsonian Institution (SI) has a requirement for specialized cleaning of 112 historic and rare aircraft and spacecraft on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, 14390 Air and Space Parkway, Chantilly, Virginia, 20151. This solicitation has a minimum requirement that offerors must demonstrate prior experience cleaning valuable objects at high levels using lifts in order to submit a proposal. A submission form to document experience is provided in section L.
